We are currently accepting metahumans, humans, splicers and cyborgs. There will be caps in place on all non-humans. We don't want a bunch of superpowered people running around, for the most part.
Cyborgs - The cybernetic enhancement within a cyborg can vary wildly, from mechanical eyes, strengthened limbs, increased reaction time, or neural knowledge stores. Cyborgs are extremely rare because they are highly expensive - only the very rich can afford cybernetic upgrades or replacements for faulty appendages.
Metahumans - Humans amped up with 'superpowers'. These abilities can be everything from heightened senses, to clairvoyance, to pyrokinesis. Primarily, metahumans come about through chemical or medical accidents or genetic experimentation. Most of the time, these accidents or experiments kill the individual in question or produce faulty or weak powers. Poison Ivy is a Metahuman.
Splicers - Human beings who have had their DNA spliced, and fused with that of animals. The success of this process varies from individual to individual, sometimes a person can gain all of the strengths of the animal and none of the weaknesses. Other times, the result gives the individual a horrific, bestial appearance. Because of the less-than-stellar percentage of success, this is a very risky procedure that few are willing to pay the expense for. Killer Croc is a Splicer.
