Technopathy; Although she hasn’t fully realized it yet, Qwerty can talk to computers; For her, it has always been easy to hack things-the fact that she’s actually communicating with the machines hasn’t fully hit her yet.
Gadgeteering; Qwerty has an easy time designing and building her own tech out of junkyard scraps. It comes naturally to her, and it seems perfectly normal. Again, she has not come to the realization that not all educated or skilled people in engineering or science can create the things that she does.
Talents: Hacking: Alice is exceptional at this skill, although she has only been doing this for three years.
Building and repairing computers and other technology: Alice is quite good at this, as she started fixing these kinds of things when she was only ten years old.
Alice is also a hardcore gamer, having the highest score on one game in at least every arcade in Gotham.
Personality: Alice is funny, or she thinks she is. Making a joke out things has been her defense mechanism for years; She doesn’t want to think about how shitty her life really is. Alice tries to get by everyday; She hopes that she’ll be able to get out of the slums, find some good work somewhere, because let’s face it, she isn’t going to get into college. Alice is fairly amoral when comes to people, considering where she grew up; She couldn’t care less about anyone who isn’t considered her family or friend. She is friendly enough to potential clients, but is often aloof and distant to the rest of the world. In truth, she’s afraid that if she lets anyone in, they’ll just leave and desert her, like her father and mother did. She hates letting anyone in. Alice also talks tough and isn’t afraid of anyone, or at least she comes off that way. You don’t like her prices, too bad.
History: For Alice, her life has always been about bills and day-to-day survival. Or at least, most of what she can remember of it. This became her life after her father left her mother; at first, they were an okay family but as time went by, her mother and father fought more and more, and poor little Alice was brought up in a world of drowned sorrows. Both of her parents were alcoholics, and so she spent a great deal of time at the Valencia household with her best friend, Rosita. Her father eventually left her mother and her, looking for a better life somewhere else. Alice was only seven when this happened. Her mother turned to hard drugs and alcohol to deal with her rage and sorrow directed at her husband.
Alice was ten when she got her first computer, old and junky, but still in a working condition. Alice fiddled around with it, trying to make it better. Around this time she had an idea; What if she could sell her services as a mechanic?
That was that; She started out as a plain old mechanic, and now Alice is a hacker for hire. If you’ve got enough dough on your hands, she’ll hack whomever you want her to hack sans Bruce Wayne. She tried that once and it fried the computer that she was on.
RP Sample: Alice leaned back in her comfy chair, looking at the three glowing screens in front of her; She had hit a difficult road block in her work and was mulling her situation over; How was she going to get past the last of this guy’s security? After a few more minutes of thought, Inspiration struck and Alice wheeled her chair forward, her fingers once again flying across the keyboards and her eyes glued on the screens.
She was in; Alice quickly scanned through the files, picking out the ones her client had asked for; Copying them on to a disc, All Alice had to do was wait until the disc was done copying.
