Plot
The First Knight focuses on the very beginning of Bruce Wayne’s career as Batman. When the site opens it is assumed that his first thread as Batman is his first outing as the Dark Knight. As such, Jim Gordon does not have a batsignal, and has not summoned or even formed an alliance with Batman. No one knows of his existence. Certain arch-criminals, if created by Batman, have not assumed their well-known villainous identity, or may do so without his involvement.
Changes
Because the administrator prefers science to occult related activity, the site will not be accepting homo-magi characters, and magic and the supernatural are eliminated. They’ve never existed so far as anyone knows. This means that the Lazarus Pits do not exist, and therefore that Ra’s al Ghul is an ordinary man rather than an immortal.
This does not apply to most metahuman characters, though. So long as the way metahumans are created is scientific, or falsely scientific, they will be accepted and allowed.
Flexibility
Because of the nature of this site, we are allowing players to completely reinvent canons. Players may portray canons as they were shown in any Batverse, combine multiple portrayals, or all together remake the character, so long as their 'concept' remains true to that canon.
For instance, Selina Kyle in the Burtonverse was a mousey secretary who was nearly killed by her boss and then became Catwoman. In New Earth in the comics, she was an orphan who raised herself on the streets. I could choose to make her an orphan who acquired her thieving skills through her life on the streets, but never actually assumed an alternate identity until after her boss tried to kill her. Alternatively, I could give her an entirely new history explaining how and why she became Catwoman. So long as I don't make Catwoman a girlscout, holier-than-thou type hero, I have free range. The same is applicable to almost any character.
Players may also alter a canon's age accordingly. In case we have any players interested in canons who might be a bit young at this time.
